A wide variety of Jamaica villas are available for rental. They are in different areas of Jamaica, and offer different amenities. Some house two people, others house eighteen. Prices range from fifty dollars to more than five hundred a night. Some are rented by professional companies, others are individually owned. There is a lot of variety to choose from when planning a Caribbean vacation.
There are seventeen commonly listed areas in Jamaica in which villas exist. Montego Bay, with one hundred and sixty nine available rentals, has the most options available. Next come Ocho Rios with ninety two, Silver Sands with sixty seven and Discovery Bay with forty. Runaway Bay, Negril, Treasure Beach and Port Antonio all have between twenty and thirty places for rental. Duncans has nine, Kingston and Whitehouse have four, and Oracabessa has three. Priory, Rose Hall, Port Maria, Hanover and Petersfield all have one listed villa for rent.
The chances of quickly renting a desireable villa are increased by searching the areas with the most available units. To do this, look at buildings available in the top five or so locations. This would be Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Silver Sands, Discovery Bay and Runaway Bay.
Of the top twenty villas of these areas, ranked by vacationers, Montego Bay has four. Eight exist in Ocho Rios and three in Runaway Bay. Five are located in Silver Sands. In these five locations, the lowest price per night ranges from fifty to two hundred dollars. This is the fee for four bedrooms and three baths and housing for up to ten people. The most expensive nightly rate is upward of eleven thousand dollars. This is the prince of renting a villa with eight bedrooms that can house eighteen people.
A villa in Montego Bay rates overall highest of any located in the top five areas. It is on nine acres with five bedrooms and six bathrooms and accommodates ten people. The weekly rate is from around three thousand to four thousand dollars. It is located near tourist attractions and the airport. A swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court, fitness center, pool house, tropical gardens and fruit trees are all on site. In addition to this, full staff is included in the price. A cook, housekeeper, maid, caretaker and property manager are all available.
The second overall highest rated rental is in Ocho Rios and the third in Runaway Bay. Weekly prices range from a little over five hundred to over two thousand for these properties. The Ocho Rios property houses three and has its own kitchen. A LCD television with over one hundred channels, garden, and grotto with kayaks are also available. The Runaway Bay property offers cable TV as well. There is a pool, public and private beach, and accommodating staff. It is next to a golf course and near snorkeling sites.
The fourth highly rated property is in Silver Sands. This goes for four thousand to over six thousand a night and houses sixteen people. The highest listed villa for the Discovery Bay area is ranked around the thirtieth in preference. It has three bedrooms and three bathrooms and accommodates eight for around two thousand dollars a week.
The highest ranking villa is in Montego Bay, followed by Ocho Rios, Runaway Bay and Silver Sands. There is a pretty large gap between these and the highest rated Discovery Bay area rental. Of the top twenty villas, most exist in Ocho Rios, followed by Silver Sands and then Montego Bay. Discovery Bay villas did not make the top twenty.
